Agricultural contract

CARBOFARM enters into a contract with you for a duration of 8 years. The contract includes special provisions for leased areas with shorter durations and the procedure for ownership changes during the term.

Recording

We will record with you all the plots/fields that are to be included in the CARBOFARM programme. The stratification will be carried out either according to the 5ha method or according to the NDVI method that we prefer.

Baseline

 

We will assess the current status of your operation over the last 5 years (fertilisers and pesticides, energy consumption, crop yields, etc.) with you. "Grandfathered benefits" will also be queried and taken into account accordingly. Clarifying these questions will take approximately 2-3 hours.

Soil samples

At the beginning of the CARBOFARM programme, a baseline measurement is conducted to determine soil quality and the initial situation. These soil samples are commissioned by CARBOFARM at your expense from accredited, independent soil samplers and laboratories. Soil sampling can take place throughout the year, preferably when biological activity is at its lowest..

Miscellaneous

Upon expiry of the contract, the contract will be extended unless terminated by either party.

Your data remains your property. CARBOFARM only requires a usage permission.
